Aaron Paul might be getting behind the wheel again. A sequel to the action-adrenaline thriller, Need For Speed is in development.

The Hollywood Reporter noted that the sequel would be a joint venture between China Movie Channel, Jiaflix and 1905.com. These companies have teamed up with Electronic Arts, who is the publisher of the Need For Speed game, in order to move ahead with the sequel.

Based on this news, it would appear that most of the movie will be filmed in China and that local talent will also heavily featured.

Need For Speed featured Aaron Paul and grossed over $200 million dollars at the worldwide box office. $65 million of that gross was earned when the film was released in China.

No word yet on who if anyone from the original film would be returning.

This announcement comes days after Furious 7 made over $140 million opening weekend at the domestic box office, that film has yet to open in China, Business Insider reported.
