Authorities in Ohio have said that they believe a man fatally shot his ex-wife and girlfriend before turning the gun on himself Tuesday morning.

The Associated Press noted that a preliminary investigation into the deaths of Amanda House, 19, Magnus Dotson, 48, and Dotson’s 47-year-old ex-wife point to a murder-suicide.

Cleveland police said that the bodies of the two female victims were found shot in separate residences and that the deceased male was found in vehicle in a driveway of another home overnight. Dotson’s gunshot wound appeared to be self-inflicted.

WKYC reported that Dotson’s two siblings each got a phone call from their brother allegedly saying that he killed his ex-wife and House and was also going to kill himself next.

"I got a very very troubling phone call," Dotson’s brother told a 911 operator. "According to him, there's been a double homicide. I'm with my sister. I'm with my wife. I don't want to go into my brother's house and find what he just explained to me."

When officers arrived at the scene, however, Dotson was already dead.

A motive for the shootings has not yet been released and the incident remains under investigation.
