Garrett Hedlund won’t be the only familiar face returning for Joseph Kosinski’s Tron 3. Olivia Wilde is reportedly set to return.

The casting news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, which notes that the two stars will play their roles from Tron Legacy.

Hedlund starred in Legacy as Sam Flynn, the son of Jeff Bridges’ Kevin Flynn. Wilde played Quorra, an algorithm embodied as flesh who helped out Sam.

While Disney has not been in a rush to make a follow-up to 2010’s Legacy, production on it really got moving once again last month, when a Vancouver blog reported that filming would start this October. Kosinski, who directed Tom Cruise’s Oblivion in the interim, will return to helm the project and Hedlund was already expected to return.

The Tron franchise kicked off with the 1982 film, which starred Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner. Directed by Steven Lisberger, the film wasn’t a financial success when it came out, but its revolutionary mix of computer graphics and live action made it a cult hit. Similarly, Legacy’s visuals were also front and center, ahead of the story.

However, Legacy was a much bigger hit than the original film. It grossed $400 million worldwide, with a reported $170 million budget.

Wilde was recently seen in The Lazarus Effect, while Hedlund will next be seen in Warner Bros.’ Peter Pan movie Pan.
