The most dramatic season in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills history is coming to a wrap tonight with part 3 of the reunion.
Tonight kicks off with the discussion of who has the “dirtiest mouth” of the ladies. Though most agree it is Brandi, Lisa Rinna is in complete shock that most don’t think it is her. In fact, she says her husband, Harry Hamlin, requested that she not use the “F” word as much when filming for the show. Producers counted and she used the word more than any other housewife this season! Welcome to the franchise, Lisa.
After a breakdown of being shut up and shut down all season from Lisa Rinna, Kim Richards accepts her apology and even walks over to the other couch to give her a hug. This is genuinely surprising considering 30 seconds before they were literally displaying their disdain for one another and now suddenly things seem to be on their way to being okay. Why can’t Kim forgive her own sister, Kyle, the way she forgave Lisa Rinna?
After the break Brandi and Kyle are screaming at each other after Brandi calls Kyle out for smoking marijuana. Kyle says she has but she doesn’t do it often. Brandi is mostly bothered because she thinks Kyle acts like she never does anything wrong. Kim finds an opportunity to interject that she is not struggling with her sobriety. As much as myself and everyone in the cast obviously wants to believe it, it’s blatantly appears that it isn’t true. Is it okay to question why Kim feels the need to talk about how sober she is all the time? If you’re sober and you know you’re sober, why do you have to advertise it? Why do you feel the need to defend yourself? Who cares what people think, Kim Richards? If you’re sober and you know you’re sober, live your life. Because right now it seems like you’re over compensating.
Things get serious now when Kyle and Kim start referring to Kyle’s daughter being bit by Kingsley, Kim’s pit bull. Kim is mad because she thinks Kyle made it a social situation. Kyle is threatening to throw all of Kim’s dirty laundry out on the table, Kim is doing the same. This is hands down what everyone was referring to when they said the reunion was rough. Kim and Kyle are sisters, this is hard to watch.
Andy confirms that the situation with Kingsley biting Kyle’s daughter is why they are not talking. Everyone is trying to get Kim to admit that Kingsley isn’t actually at a trainer and is at her house. She says he’s being trained but no one believes her. Now Kim is talking about how her relationship with her other sister, Kathy, is better than that with Kyle. Shouldn’t be said on national television, Kim. Just rude.
When asked where Kim and Kyle will go from this point, they both say they are uncertain. Several of the ladies suggest they take a couple of days and go on a trip somewhere alone. Apparently Kim has uninvited Kyle to her daughter’s wedding. Lisa Vanderpump’s main concern is that they fix their issues before the wedding date as she believes more of the family will suffer if they do not. For example, the other siblings, their kids, etc. She has a valid point.
Andy asks Kyle how she feels as they are closing the season out. She says she feels sad and can’t answer if she is hopeful because she is crying. So sad. Kim, too, says she doesn’t know how she feels or where things will go from here.
Brandi claims that she wants Kyle and Kim to be close again regardless of what people understand. Very nice of Brandi to use her last words of the season in honor of Kim and Kyle making their relationship right again, especially considering the huge issues between she and Kyle.
The newbies Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna close ou their first season both feeling happy they joined the cast. With both of them being professional actresses in the industry for many years, this was a different format for them but they both stood out and have reportedly been invited back for next season. Congrats, ladies! See you next year.
Lisa Vanderpump also uses her last words of the season to say that Kyle and Kim should be making up and that is whats most important of this season.
The episode closes out on a really sad note. The ladies look rather drained. It’s very possible that Kim and Kyle’s relationship needs a break from reality television. Tonight was hard to watch, but was good to see some ladies attempting to leave things on a positive note.
Until next season, Beverly Hills.
