It has been almost forty years since Reba McEntire released her debut album. McEntire has become a legend in country music and is still going strong, her latest single "Going Out Like That" upon its release hit No. 1 on the iTunes charts.

The Huffington Post sat down with McEntire who opened up about being a grandmother to Kelly Clarkson's daughter, River Rose and what inspired her latest album. She is proud of the fact that she just turned 60 and still topping the charts. McEntire has 35 chart-topping singles to her name.

McEntire's latest album, Love Somebody was inspired by love. "It's a love album. The overall theme is love---whether you're falling in or falling out, being rejected or trying to find it, it's about love. It's an eclectic collection of emotion. Some of the songs are happy. Some of them are sad. Some of them are hopeful. A lot of them have sass or are sexy. It's just all over the place, but the main theme is love," explained McEntire.

The "Fancy" singer explained that with this album she felt more comfortable in her skin and isn't afraid of being sassy. "I think I have. I think I'm very comfortable in my own skin, and I'm not out to impress everybody. What you see is what you get. So, I do think I'm a little sassier with more attitude now."

Taste of Country reported that McEntire is currently preparing for Las Vegas residency with Brooks & Dunn which is set to start later this year.
