One of the two men former rap mogul Suge Knight allegedly ran over with a truck refused to even positively identify Knight, who was sitting in the courtroom during the preliminary hearing.

Cle “Bone” Sloan, 51, and Terry Carter, 55, got into a fight with Knight on Jan. 29 at a Compton burger joint after another argument at the Straight Outta Compton film set. Carter died and Sloan survived, but with serious injuries. Knight pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and attempted murder in February. TMZ claimed to have obtained video of the incident in March.

During today’s preliminary hearing, Sloan took the stand, but refused to be much of a help to prosecutors. When Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Barnes asked Sloan to identify Knight, Sloan replied, “That doesn’t look like Mr. Knight,” reports Reuters.

According to The Los Angeles Times, later, as he was pointing at Knight, Sloan said, “I don't want it to get misconstrued that I told on this man. I'm no snitch. I will not be used to send Suge Knight to prison.”

Knight, who co-founded Death Row Records, is being held on $25 million bail. If he’s found guilty, he would have to be sentenced to at least 25 years in prison due to his prior convictions.

Knight was in court last week on unrelated robbery charges, stemming from a September 2014 incident with comedian Katt Williams. The two allegedly stole a woman’s camera in Beverly Hills.
