Taylor Swift is opening up about her unlikely collaborator, Kanye West. She said they haven’t recording anything yet but they’ve been brainstorming about a possible song to work on together.

Back in February it was surprising to see Swift and West so chummy during commercial breaks at the Grammys and afterwards, West told Ryan Seacrest they planned on working together.

When asked about it during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said they haven’t hit the studio yet but they have started discussions.

“He has said that,” she said of his statement to Seacrest. “We've never been in a studio together, but, he's got a lot of amazing ideas.”

Swift continued to praise West’s creativity and explained, “He's one of those people that's just like idea, idea, idea. He's very creative and… I think we've talked about it but we've also talked about so many other things… I completely respect him as a producer. So, that's all I know now.”

The "Shake It Off" singer also said she hasn't even thought about a follow-up album to 1989 but knows it has to be "something very different, creatively.”
