It had to happen sometime. Furious 7 was knocked out of the No. 1 spot at the box office on Friday by Blake Lively's Age of Adeline.
Hit Fix reported that Adeline, which is a romantic drama from Lionsgate, made over $4.9 million at the box office. The movie is expected to make around $13-14 million. Adeline also stars, Harrison Ford, Michiel Huisman and Kathy Baker.
The Hollywood Reporter added that despite winning Friday, Furious 7 is most likely to top the box office this weekend.
Furious 7 is on track to bring in $16.3 million at the box office this week bringing it's domestic total to around $300 million. The movie became the fastest in history to reach a billion dollars at the box office worldwide. The movie has made $1.22 billion worldwide and it is not the No. 6 grossing movie of all time.
