Troy Dohetry is known for his being an actor, songwriter and musician. Dohetry has been seen on shows like, Criminal Minds, Victorious,New Girl, Mike and Molly. He is putting acting on the back burner and is focusing on his music career with his most recently release Citizen's Arrest.

Citizen's Arrest is an attempt to make an indie pop-rock inspired album. The album features Dohetry on lead vocals and guitar but he is not alone on this album. Felicia Barton provides backup vocals, she was a vocalist on American Idol, and Joe King, who is the lead guitarist for The Fray.

The album opens with "Citizen's Arrest" and it introduces Dohetry's pop-rock sound and vocal range. The song starts off strong but doesn't build to anything, it has the makings of a hit single but falls shorts because the lyrics seem to simple and his vocal range stays the same during the chorus and the verses.

Citzen's Arrest transitions into "Endlessly" and "Push The Pedal." "Endlessly" shows off that Dohetry is still working on his vocal range and wasn't able to deliver the passion and emotion behind the lyrics. The album finally hits it stride when it comes to the third track, "Push The Pedal." It is fun, upbeat and is a song that is built around Dohetry's range. It doesn't force him to hit notes out of his range but highlights a more indie rock side to him. If this is the direction that the album would have gone in from the start, it would be a different listening experience.

Arrest closes with "Animal." The album once again changes in tone and goes towards a more hard-hitting rock sound and at times even has a slightly country inspired twist. This album can't decide what musical tone it wanted to go into. It seems that Dohetry is really experimenting trying to find what is the right fit for him but the album as a result, feels disjointed and not natural.

Dohetry is a musician who is still developing in the industry and needs more time playing in front of live crowds and really developing that passion. It seems as though Dohetry is an actor who wants to be a musician, not a musician in his own right.
