A couple in the UK bought a rare Princess Diana beanie baby that was worth 62,500 pounds.

According to the Daily Mail, Leah Rogers and Ryan Flanaghan were selling toys in Bude, Cornwall and saw the purple bear being sold at another stall. Flanaghan recognized it as the Princess Diana bear, which is one of only 100 created. They bought the bear for only 10 pounds.

The couple put the bear up for sale on eBay for 20,000 pounds and they plan on using the money for a deposit to purchase a home.

The Independent reported that they could tell the bear was a first-edition bear since it had pellets and a tag that made reference to the Princess of Wales Memorial Fund. After Princess Diana’s tragic death in 1997, the purple bears were created as a tribute.

A poem is also included with the bear reading, “Like an angel she came from heaven above; she shared her compassion, her pain, her love; she only stayed with us long enough to teach the world to share, to give, to reach.”

Rogers reportedly told the Daily Mail, “We couldn’t believe it. We picked it up for £10 and it could be worth tens of thousands. It’s so hard for young people to get on the property ladder so we think this could really be a blessing.”
