Authorities said that more than 150 people have been arrested for their involvement after a biker gang brawl at a Waco, Texas restaurant turn deadly on Sunday.
NBC News reported that the violence began inside Twin Peaks Sports Bar around noon. The fight among the rival motorcycle gangs involved punching before other objects were used and eventually escalated to gunfire.
"It was a very gruesome, very violent crime scene," said Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton. "There were pools of blood, there were streams of blood … Probably one of the most violent, gruesome crime scenes I have seen in 35 years of service."
During a news conference on Monday morning, Swanton said that 192 people were arrested, however, he later told CNN that the number is actually closer to around 170. Those arrested have been charged with engaging in organized crime and could face more charges upon completion of the investigation.
Police have said that anywhere from three to five gangs may have been involved in the melee.
Several members of the community noted that trouble with biker gang members at this particular establishment has been brewing for some time. Twin Peaks will remain closed for the next week as the investigation continues.
