It’s been a decade since Alabama teen Natalee Holloway disappeared in Aruba and now her father Dave Holloway is returning to the island to followup on a new lead.

Inside Edition reported that Holloway’s father headed to Aruba again with a cadaver dog and a private investigator after an alleged witness claimed to know where his daughter’s body is.

“I saw Natalee Holloway on the last night she was alive,” said Jurrien de Jong. “I was the eyewitness.”

The new potential witness alleged that on the night Holloway disappeared, he saw Joran van der Sloot carrying her body and placing it in a crawl space.

“I saw that Joran was chasing Natalee into a small building under construction. In about five minutes he came out with Natalee in his arms, and slammed the body of Natalee on the floor, and then he made an opening in a crawl space…I knew she was dead.”

De Jong said he did not come forward or go to the police at the time because he was involved in some illegal activity. But years later, after hearing the many different tales that van der Sloot has told related to the teen’s disappearance, he decided to.

As previously reported, van der Sloot had been the primary suspect in Holloway’s case as he was the last person to see her alive on May 30, 2005. He is currently serving time for murdering a Peruvian woman named Stephany Flores and will be extracted to the U.S. in 2038 to face charges that he extorted and defrauded Holloway’s family.
