At least 32 people are dead and more than 1,000 are injured after another powerful earthquake hit Nepal on Tuesday.

The Associated Press reported that the latest quake, which measured 7.3 on the Richter scale, triggered landslides and brought down buildings in the country’s Sindhupalchowk and Dolakha districts.

CNN noted that Sunil Kumar, a senior disaster management official, said that the in addition to the 29 deaths in Nepal, another three people were killed in neighboring India. The death toll, however, is expected to rise.

This trembler comes less than three weeks after Nepal was devastated by 7.8-magnitude quake that struck near Katmandu and came with several aftershocks. That quake, which was the worst in decades, killed about 8,000 people.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, Tuesday’s quake was accompanied by six aftershocks and residents fear that more could follow.

Indian Defense Ministry spokesman Sitanshu Kar has said that troops from his country have been dispatched and are assisting those who are injured in Nepal.
