Even though Azealia Banks is better known for her feuds with celebrities than her music, the singer already wants to start acting. She’s signed on to star in Coco, a movie that Wu-Tang Clan member RZA is directing.

The film is set up at Lionsgate and will also star Common, Jill Scott, Pitch Perfect’s Hana Mae Lee and Lucien Laviscount. Paul Hall will produce and Nicole Asher wrote the screenplay.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Banks will star in the title role, playing an artist who loses a record deal. So, she goes back to college to find a new love - slam poetry.

This will be RZA’s follow-up to his directing debut, 2012’s The Man With The Iron Fists. He’s an actor as well, having appeared in G.I. Joe: Retaliation and the short-lived Fox show Gang Related.

Banks is best known for the song “212” and for not thinking before tweeting. Earlier this month, she complained about getting nominated at the BET Awards for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and she also went after Nicki Minaj’s fan base.

She has also posed for Playboy and is working on her second album.
