Beyonce had another elevator incident at this year’s Met Gala, but it wasn’t a fraction as dramatic as last year’s fight between her sister, Solange Knowles, and her husband Jay Z.

The “Pretty Hurts” singer’s hair stylist, Neal Farinah, revealed she wanted her hair changed in the elevator on the way to the Met Gala earlier this month.

Since the theme was “China: Through the Looking Glass,” Beyonce had a classic chignon but changed her mind at the last minute because she thought it was “too costumey.”

Farinah told Us Weekly, "We were in the elevator on the way down, and she looks at me and says 'Neal, I want to change my hair, will you change my hair?' And I said, 'Honey, there could be cameras in the elevator,'" he joked.

He went on to recall “She says, 'You have 5 minutes.' And I said, 'Girl, what do you want me to do with the hair?' And she wanted a high ponytail. With Beyonce, she looks at herself and she says, 'This isn't right, let's change it.'”

The now famous elevator incident involving Solange, Beyonce and Jay Z occurred at the Standard Hotel in New York City, where they were leaving a Met Gala after party last year.

After Solange was seen kicking and punching her brother-in-law, Beyonce got in the car with her sister instead of her husband. Beyonce has since incorporated it into her "Flawless" remix, rapping, "Of course sometimes sh-t goes down when there’s a billion dollars on an elevator."
