Blake Lively, who restarted her acting career this year with The Age of Adaline, is hoping to build on that momentum by joining Woody Allen’s 2016 movie.

The casting was first reported by Deadline. The film, which of course has no known title and plot at this point, also stars Bruce Willis and Kristen Stewart. Jesse Eisenberg, who appeared in the already-forgotten To Rome With Love (2012), is also set to appear in it.

Allen’s usual producers - Letty Aronson, Stephen Tenenbaum and Edward Walson - are all onboard.

Allen is about to release another film, Irrational Man, with Emma Stone, Parker Posey and Joaquin Phoenix. That movie hits theaters on July 24 and will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival later this month.

It is a bit surprising that Allen has already committed to making another movie for release in 2016, since he has also committed to an Amazon Prime Instant Video project. That also has no plot or title, but already got a full season order.

As for Lively, the former Gossip Girl star can currently be seen in Age of Adaline, in which she plays a woman who does not age. Her next project is set to be All I See Is You with Jason Clarke. Marc Forster (World War Z) is directing.
