Blink-182 rose to punk rock fame with hits like "All The Small Things" and "Whats My Age Again" but it would appear that the band is going through a musical divorce. Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker have explained in recent interviews that Tom DeLonge is no longer a member of the band.
During an interview with Das Process podcast, Hoppus opened up about his relationship with DeLonge. "We are right now going through what so far has been a friendly divorce with our former guitarist," explained Hoppus. "Hopefully things clear up and it doesn't get all manager-y and lawyer-y and all that and we can move forward."
DeLonge left the band back in January when he wouldn't commit to moving forward with recording a new album but he never officially announced that he had actually left the band, Rolling Stone added.
The band is now looking forward to moving on and getting back to music. They are open to the possibly of working on a new LP with Matt Skiba, who has been playing with Hoppus and Barker.
During an interview with Alternative Press, Skiba opened up about working with the band."I think that's a great idea and it’s something we have discussed. It's something I would be very excited to do and I've known the Blink guys for about 15 years, and we've become good friends. Playing songs I haven't written with Mark and Travis is a blast, so to go in and create music with them would be amazing."
