Photos from the set of Captain America: Civil War have surfaced, showing that Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie are already back in action after Avengers: Age of Ultron. The photos also showed off Crossbones.
Civil War is currently being filmed in Atlanta and is being directed by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo. A full gallery was posted at Just Jared, with Evans in full Cap gear, with Mackie dressed in his Falcon uniform.
There’s also Frank Grillo, who played Brock Rumlow in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. However, he’s now the villain Crossbones. the actor apparently doesn’t care that photos of his outfit surfaced, since he posted one of the pictures on his Instagram page.
The photos surfaced just after Marvel confirmed that nearly every character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be appearing in Civil War, even though it’s supposed to be a Cap solo movie. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) will have a big role in the film.
Spider-Man, who might be played by Asa Butterfield, is reportedly going to make his MCU debut in Civil War, but Marvel didn’t confirm that.
Civil War is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016. Before that though, Ant-Man hits theaters on July 17.
