Warner Bros. and New Line’s Vacation reboot features the return of the Griswolds, who meet up with today’s typical raunchy Hollywood humor. The first red band trailer for the film came out today and features Ed Helms, Christina Applegate and a shirtless Chris Hemsworth.
Helms (The Office, The Hangover) stars as a grown up Rusty Griswold, who hopes to take his wife (Applegate) and two sons to WalleyWorld, the same place his parents took him to in 1983’s National Lampoon’s Vacation. And yes, Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo have cameos.
They also visit Rusty’s sister, played by Leslie Mann, who is married to a really good looking guy played by Hemsworth. He stops by to show off his... uh... abs. Charlie Day and Sports Illustrated model Hannah Davis can also be spotted in the trailer.
Vacation is set to hit theaters on July 31. It was written and directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein.
