A man, who was bullied by internet trolls earlier this year, got a promise fulfilled with a star-studded Hollywood dance party over the weekend.
BBC News reported that Sean O’Brien flew from London to Los Angeles and got to party like a rock star on Saturday with musicians Andrew WK and Moby. Even Pharrell Williams joined in with a special video message.
In March, O’ Brien was ridiculed over his weight after a picture of him surfaced on 4chan message board.
"Spotted this specimen trying to dance the other week," an anonymous user captioned with the photo. "He stopped when he saw us laughing."
O’Brien’s story went viral and he became known as the “Dancing Man.” A social media campaign to find him began and when he was located, he was promised a lavish party where he could dance as much as he wanted.
The Huffington Post noted that the event was put together by the group Dance Free Movement and almost 1,000 people were in attendance. But the fun did not stop there, O' Brien also threw out the first pitch at a Dodgers game Sunday to round out the weekend-long festivities.
The 46-year-old described the experiences as “completely amazing.”
Some other celebs that O’Brien got to rub elbows and dance with included Monica Lewinsky, Megan Trainor, comedian Damienne Merlina, and actress Tatyana Ali, who played Ashley Banks on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
