Social media is still buzzing over the newest royal baby born to the William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The royal family’s Twitter account has been keeping followers updated on the couple as they introduce their family to the baby girl.
On the official twitter account for Kensington Palace, a statement attributed words spoken by her uncle, Prince Harry, as saying, “She is absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to meet her.” They also posted messages about the new parents’ appreciation for the love and support from around the world.
The baby girl has already received visits from both sets of grandparents, Charles, the Prince of Wales, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and Michael and Carole Middleton. Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton, also arrived to meet her new niece.
People reported that a friend of the late Princess Diana, the only grandparent the baby and her brother Prince George will not get to meet, went on social media to talk about how her friend would have felt about being a grandmother.
Rosa Monckton wrote, “How Diana would have loved a grand daughter.” She made similar sentiments at the time Prince George was born in 2013, saying that Diana would have been thrilled to be a grandmother.
