Taylor Swift plans on releasing her brand new music video for "Bad Bloods" at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards and it will feature a wide variety of celebrities. Swift took to her Instagram account to announced that Kendrick Lamar would be featured in the video as Welvin Da Great.
Swift is announcing the cast of her star studded video via her social media accounts. The Instagram photo of Lamar features a more graphic novel type of imagery and looks more like a character poster compared to a normal post.
MTV added that Swift had previously announced that her friend Ellie Goulding would be appearing in the music video, Goulding will be playing the character of “Destructa X." Hailee Steinfeld is featured as "The Trinity" and Lena Dunham as Lucky Fiori. Lamar is the first male cast member in the video.
Swift explained that everyone who was invited to take part in the music video was able to create their own character and name.
As previously reported, Joseph Kahn directed the video and Swift was a producer on the project.
The awards will be broadcasted live on May 17th and will be hosted by Ludacris and model Chrissy Teigen. The event is taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Swift is one of the most nominated artist of the night taking in 14 nominations, including two nominations in the same category.
