Learning that your plane is overbooked and that you might not get on the flight you paid for can be a really frustrating experience. But stripping down naked right in front of flight attendants and passengers is probably the last response you should have.

That’s exactly what a man did at Charlotte Douglas International Airport on Wednesday after he learned that his US Airways flight to Jamaica was overbooked. Sherry Kerchie, a witness, told WBTV that the man stood in the concourse for around an hour before local police and security finally took him away.

Kerchie said that the man was angry and yelling even before he started stripping. She started taking pictures of the scene with her cell phone, since she had never seen anything like it before.

“It's embarrassing. That guy should think about what's going on, who's around him and seriously get some psychological evaluation, or help,” Mike Osborne, another traveler, told WCNC.

Airport officials haven’t commented on the incident. However, police did tell WBTV that they responded to a “disturbance call where a male was suffering from a medical issue.” So, they helped the man get medical treatment and they will not charge him with a crime.
