Actor Matthew Lewis, most known for his role as Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter series, stripped down for his front-page cover of Attitude magazine.

While many were not opposed to Lewis’ near-naked photos, there was one person who was not a fan - author of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling.

The 49 year-old author said on Twitter, ".@Mattdavelewis Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God's sake."

Rowling was referring to the Broadway play Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliff, starred in, where he took off all his clothes for the whole audience to see.

Lewis responded to her tweet saying, “Well, this is awkward. Sorry, Jo…”

Rowling then added, “I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on.”

Fans enjoyed the exchange between the author and actor, tweeting their approval for Lewis and his photos as well as their joy over the conversation.
