Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor Nicholas Brendon was arrested once again, this time in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Brendon was at XCon World Comic Convention when he was arrested on public intoxication charges on Saturday and was released the following day, Myrtle Beach police Lt. Joey Crosby said.
This marks Brendon’s third arrest this year. He was arrested in February on grand theft and criminal mischief charges for allegedly trashing his hotel room at the Hilton in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and again for allegedly trashing another hotel room in Tallahassee, Fla. the following month.
He spoke out in March about depression caused by child abuse he suffered when he was a child.
After his most recent arrest his team took to his Twitter page to say, “We are not releasing any comments or statements regarding today's events. Thank you.”
He then posted a photo of himself at the beach and wrote, “Twatters I love you all. Healing waters of Myrtle Beach. We are all human.”
