Authorities in Massachusetts arrested about a dozen people after a massive brawl involving hundreds broke out on Revere Beach.
The Associated Press noted that police arrested 10 to 12 people after they allegedly participated in a fight that broke out around 6:15 p.m. Sunday at the beach.
According to NECN, an all-out brawl erupted after two females began fighting and then several other people got involved. Revere Mayor Dan Rizzo said that their boyfriends joined in and then their friends jumped in and the number just continued to increase.
Police said there was a lot of pushing, shoving and bottles being tossed about. However, there were no injuries reported afterwards.
Between 100 and 200 individuals were involved in the fight and officers from Lynn, Chelsea, Boston, Everett, Winthrop, Massachusetts State Police and Transit Police were called in to assist Revere officers.
Those who were arrested have been charged with disorderly conduct and are set to be arraigned Monday in court.
