All six Baltimore police officers who were charged in the death of Freddie Gray earlier this month have been indicted by a Baltimore grand jury, State’s Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby said Friday afternoon.

The six officers - Caesar Goodson Jr., William Porter, Brian Rice, Edward Nero, Garrett Miller and Alicia White - were charged on May 1. They are involved in the incidents that led to Gray’s death on April 19, following his arrest. During his arrest, he suffered a spinal cord injury and was taken to a hospital, where he died after going into a coma.

According to NBC News, some of the charges were dropped, while others added. The false imprisonment and assault charges were dropped for some of them, while reckless endangerment and others were added for all six.

“As our investigation has continued, additional information has been discovered, and as is often the case, during an ongoing investigation charges can and should be revised, based upon the evidence,” Mosby said in a short press conference, CNN reports. Mosby didn’t take questions from the media, only adding that the six officers will be arraigned on July 2.

Gray’s death led to riots and protests in Baltimore and Mosby filed charges against the officers at the height of the unrest. Lawyers for the officers want Mosby off the case, since she is married to the city council member who represents the district Gray was arrested in. However, she has refused to do so.
