Footage allegedly from the set of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad leaked, showing what appears to be Jared Leto and Margot Robbie in a confrontation, or at least in a very heated conversation.
There were two videos, both from the same YouTube user, mrshinyguitar, and appear to be different takes of the same scene. Obviously, there must have been some authenticity to them, because Warner Bros. has since had them removed from YouTube.
As IGN suspects, this might be a flashback scene as Robbie isn’t dressed up like Harley Quinn just yet. She’s still Harleen Quinzel and not completely fallen under the Joker’s spell. Leto is in full Joker makeup, although he does look a bit different from the over-processed image we saw last month.
It’s also worth noting that the Joke is driving a purple sports car with the license plate “HAHAHA.” Because nothing says “The Joker is coming and doesn’t want to hide!” like a purple Lamborghini with a vanity license plate.
Earlier this month, we saw official photos from Ayer, which showed off the full team and Will Smith’s Deadshot character. Other actors in the film include Cara Delevingne, Jai Courtney, Karen Fukuhara, Adam Beach, Joel Kinnaman and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
Suicide Squad opens in theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
