Taylor Swift won eight Billboard Music Awards last night and now she’s waking up Monday as the new No. 1 on Maxim’s annual Hot List of talented women.
She’s on the cover of the magazine’s June/July issue. It comes out just before she heads out on the road for her 1989 tour, which starts on Wednesday in Bossier City, Louisiana.
“This year has been my favorite year of my life so far,” Swift told Maxim. “I got to make an album exactly the way I wanted to make it. I got to put it out exactly the way that I dreamed of putting it out. Every one of these kinds of whims and ideas came to fruition. The videos—I’m proud of those, I’m proud of the tour, I’m proud of the way this has all happened. In the midst of all that, this is really nice. It really feels like a wonderful celebration of my favorite year.”
Swift also teased her tour, noting that she’s working on some fun mash-ups while also trying to stay true to the studio recordings on the album. “It was fun to play around and get everything sonically right before we got on the actual stage and started doing the choreography,” she said.
The full Hot List wasn’t revealed yet, which means you’ll have to buy the magazine next week.
Swift won eight awards at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards and also unveiled the star-studded music video for 1989’s “Bad Blood.”
