Taylor Swift is known for putting on tours that feel more like a Broadway show compared to a rock concert. Now Swift is getting ready to kick off her 1989 tour in the United States and is opening up about what fans can expect when they arrive at her concerts.

Swift sat down with Extra and explained that she is determined to keep getting better and have a better effort every time she goes to work.

“It would be so ridiculous if I didn’t look it at that way, because that’s how everyone else is looking at it,” explained Swift. “So yeah, I need my tour to be better than my last tour. I need my album to be better than my last album.”

The "Blank Space" singer explained that even if you attended her Red tour she wants this to be a completely unique experience. “My hope is that my fans don’t feel similar watching this tour in any way then they felt watching the last tour,” said Swift.

The tour is kicking off on Tuesday in Japan and Swift explained that she is already calling her favorite celebrities to see who can come make a special appearance on her tour, ABC News reported.

“I end up assuming the role of booking agent essentially when I’m on tour,” Swift said.
