A Georgia teacher has been arrested after allegations that he allowed students to have sex in his classroom.
WSB-TV noted that Quinton Wright, 25, was arrested Tuesday after a student’s mother complained about text messages she said she found between the math instructor and her child referencing the alleged incidents.
Wright, who is also a coach at The Champion School in Stone Mountain, has been charged with four misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The Associated Press noted that an arrest warrant for the teacher alleges that he provided eighth-grade students specific times when the classroom would be empty so they could engage in sexual activity. He also allegedly let the students know whether or not he had condoms for them.
"Basically he's allowing the students to have sex in a storage room of his classroom," the mother said.
She then read a text message claiming the teacher wrote to her 14-year-old son when giving him a time he could use the room.
“'Did you tell the girl what's going to happen? That she cannot tell anybody?”
A DeKalb County Schools spokesperson said that after the mother filed a complainant, Wright was removed from the school.
