An aging couple decides to see how much their apartment will go for in 5 Flights Up. When they first moved in forty years ago, the pair’s Brooklyn neighborhood was run down, but now it’s considered a young, hip area. Selling it could get them a lot of money, but they have to figure out where else they would want to call home. Morgan Freeman, Diane Keaton and Cynthia Nixon star in the PG-13 comedy. The film is playing in limited theaters for one hour and thirty-two minutes.

A writer with a desire to write action, is told by his publisher to draft a romantic comedy in Playing It Cool. It’s a difficult task for him because he doesn’t believe in love. That is, until he meets an engaged woman at a charity dinner. The limited released romantic comedy stars Chris Evans, Michelle Monaghan, Anthony Mackie, Giovanni Ribisi, Luke Wilson and Aubrey Plaza. The one hour and thirty-four minute film is rated R for language and sex.

A young DJ in NYC is forced to go to drug counseling and live with his estranged father in North Dakota in Bravetown. Feeling out of place, he soon finds solace in others who share a similar past. Familiar faces tag teamed in this week’s new films. Next week, familiar films are making their way back into theaters as Mad Max and Pitch Perfect 2 make their debut.
