A woman in desperate need of help used Pizza Hut’s online ordering system to ask employees to send 911 to her home.

The woman, Cheryl Treadway, was being held hostage with her three children at her home in Avalon Park, Fla. She wrote along with her pizza order, “Please help. Get 911 to me” along with the order. She also wrote, "911 hostage help.”

The first person to spot the message was Chef Alonia Hawk, who admitted, “I was kinda scared. I was scared for the person,” adding, "We immediately called 911.”

Hawk said they recognized Treadway’s address since she often orders from that Pizza Hut location.

WTSP reports it turns out Treadway was being held hostage by her boyfriend, Ethan Nickerson, who was wielding a knife.

Lt. Curtis Ludden explained, “She comes running toward us but two kids are still in the house with a person who's on narcotics and you don't know how their mindset with a knife, and we need to get them out.”

Fox40 reports they did eventually arrest Nickerson and charged him with false imprisonment, aggravated assault with a weapon without intent to kill, battery, and obstructing justice.

No one was injured in the incident.
