Adam Lambert was not a fan of Kanye West’s cover of “Bohemian Rhapsody” from Glastonbury over the weekend, taking to Twitter to share his disdain with his fans.
Lambert’s opinion matters to those who love Queen, since he has toured with the legendary band’s surviving members Roger Taylor and Brian May, filling in as the lead singer for the late Freddie Mercury.
“OYE VEY Kanye. That Bohemian Rhapsody at Glastonbury though.... Ouch,” he tweeted.
The former American Idol contestant is known for hitting those high notes while singing covers of the famous “Bohemian Rhapsody” with Taylor and May, but West struggled.
Though West got rave reviews from his wife, Kim Kardashian, after his Glastonbury set, he didn’t go through it without a few hiccups.
Comedian Lee Nelson interrupted him before he was hauled offstage by security, and a huge sex tape flag of Kardashian was waved around by an attendee, showing her in an explicit still from her sex tape with Ray J.
