Caitlyn Jenner could possibly be a judge in the Miss USA pageant this year.
According to The Wrap, a representative for the pageant said although Jenner has not confirmed it, the organization would “love to have her” and is negotiating an offer with the Olympic gold medalist.
“The Miss Universe Organization has allowed transgender women to participate in the Miss USA pageant since the organization changed its rules in 2012,” the statement to The Wrap read. “It is currently the only pageant that welcomes transgender participants.”
Jenner is currently working with the CAA Foundation for LGBT events, which will help her bring knowledge to the transgender community, according to another Wrap report.
The foundation is also set to provide counseling to help Jenner spread her message.
Back in 2011, Jenner’s stepson Rob Kardashian was the “designated Twitter judge” for the pageant, in which he asked a contestant what she thought of the possibility of a transgender woman, winning over a “natural born woman,” according to The Wrap.
The Miss USA pageant is set to air on July 12, on NBC.
