Charli XCX was scheduled to perform in Florida this month but has cancelled her upcoming performance because of personal reasons.
Miami Herald reported that the show was going to take place at the Revolution in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on June 15th.
The "Boom Clap" singer announced the cancellation on social media, posting a note that explained she was very sorry to have to cancel but that she hoped to be back soon for her fans in Florida. “I am very sorry to have let you down, and also to have let down any promotors at such short notice, but there are some things going on in my personal life that I need to deal with right now," said XCX.
This Sunday the "Boom Clap" singer performed at her concert in Columbia, Maryland and everything seemed to be going well. No additional information on why the sudden cancelation.
The singer-songwriter is also known in the industry for working with a variety of artists including Iggy Azalea, who recently announced the cancelation of her entire Great Escape tour. She has also expressed in recent interviews that she would like to work with Justin Bieber on a musical collaboration.
