Although Robin Williams died over a year ago, he left behind such a body of work that he still has films left to be released. One of those films is Boulevard, which was one in a series of small indie movies he made just before his death.
The film finds Williams as Nolan Mack, whose marriage to Joy (Kathy Baker) has become boring. His whole life is boring, as even a promotion at the bank he’s worked at for 25 years doesn’t shake things up. One night, he drives down a road he’s never driven down before and meets a young man, Leo (Roberto Aguire). This relationship reawakens Nolan, but leads to clashes with his already established life.
Boulevard was written by Douglas Soesbe and directed by Dito Montiel. Bob Odenkirk also stars.
Starz is releasing the film in New York on July 10 and in Los Angeles on July 17. Other screenings will be added throughout July.
