Are you sick of spotting selfie sticks all over the place in Disney World? So are those who work at the theme park, because the sticks are being banned starting June 30.

Disney World spokeswoman Kim Prunty has confirmed selfie sticks will be prohibited starting Tuesday and Disneyland, as well as parks in Paris and Hong Kong will follow suit.

“We strive to provide a great experience for the entire family, and unfortunately selfie-sticks have become a growing safety concern for both our guests and cast," Prunty said in a statement to Orlando Sentinel reports.

Disneyland’s ban is also effective June 30 and Paris and Hong Kong’s ban will begin on July 1.

Selfie sticks have already been banned from certain rides at Disney World, with staffers instructed to give verbal warnings. However, the sticks will now be regulated upon entrance of the parks, where bag checks occur.

CBS Miami reports the sticks are also prohibited in Disney World water parks and DisneyQuest.

If guests try to enter with a selfie stick, they will need to return them to their cars or hotels or check them in at bag check and pick them up on the way out.
