Donald Trump has announced that he will be running for president again, vowing to make “our country great again.” In his usual hyperbolic manner, he also insisted that he will be the “greatest jobs president god ever created.”
The Donald made his announcement at Trump Tower in New York, as he already joins a crowded Republican field. His speech was long and hit on all the issues the Celebrity Apprentice host loves to bring up. He’s also using the slogan “Make America Great Again!”
“We need somebody that literally will take this country and make it great again. We can do that,” Trump said, notes NBC Washington. "Ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again."
According to the Washington Post, Trump is prepared to announce that his assets are valued at $9 billion in a document to be published after today’s announcement. That’s also more than double what Forbes estimates his wealth at.
Trump’s decision comes just after former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush announced his campaign for the presidency. The field seeking the GOP nomination is already packed, with Lindsey Graham, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, George Pataki, Rick Santorum, Scott Walker and Rick Perry all running.
