Southpaw, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, will be arriving in theaters on July 24th but fans can already hear the title single off of the films soundtrack by rap superstar Eminem.

Eminem released the single, "Phenomenal." The song has a fiery and comeback driven passion while the beat is hard hitting and sounds like a classic Eminem track. DJ Khalil-produced the track, Rolling Stone added. "Phenomenal" feels like it has a strong tie to singles like "Till I Collapse" and "Lose Yourself."

The "Rap God" is also serving as an executive producer on the soundtrack which will be released the same day as the movie.

Entertainment Weekly reported that Eminem was originally attached to star in the role that is being played by Gyllenhaal.

Shady Records President Paul Rosenberg explained about how Shady Records has been involved every step of the way with the soundtrack and that Eminem has a passion for the project. "We have been involved in developing Southpaw since its inception and Eminem has dedicated himself to ensuring that this film captured his passion for the project through his music. We’ve assembled a great soundtrack to accompany what’s sure to be one of the finest boxing films ever."
