Enrique Iglesias is recovering after hurting himself while performing in Mexico.

According to The New York Daily News, the singer sliced some of his fingers when he grabbed a drone while performing a show in Tijuana, Mexico.

A representative for Iglesias said in a statement that the singer was “semi-treated” after the incident on Saturday night and was advised to end the show. Iglesias, however, ended up performing for an extra 30 minutes.

"During the show a drone is used to get crowd shots and some nights Enrique grabs the drone to give the audience a Point of View shot. Something went wrong and he had an accident," the statement said. "He decided to go on and continued playing for 30 minutes while the bleeding continued throughout the show."

Iglesias performed the rest of his set in a bloody white t-shirt before he was rushed to the airport.

"He was rushed to the airport where an ambulance met him there. He was then put on a plane to L.A. to see a specialist.”

CBS reports that on Sunday “Team Enrique” posted on his official website saying, “Thank you to all the fans for your concern and good wishes. Enrique is getting the help he needs and we hope he will be totally fine. Will keep you posted and appreciate all your wishes and prayers.”
