Eric Church is a country music superstar who is known for his outlaw inspired personality and it turns out that Church played a role in helping Chris Pratt create his character in Jurassic World.

Pratt opened up about playing Owen in Jurassic World during a recent interview with GQ Magazine. Pratt explained that before every scene he would say a mantra.

"Flow core, no TC, volume up point five, Eric Church," Pratt would recite. Each portion of the mantra had a different meaning. "TC" reminded Pratt to lead with his forehead to avoid folds. "Volume up point five" was a reminder for him to speak loudly and clearly, "flow core" meant that his posture should be straight like in paddle-boarding and finally, Eric Church.

The Church reference was that Pratt listened to Church's "Dark Side" on set. The song and lyrics helped Pratt get into character and focus on his relationship between himself and the raptors that his character trains in the movie.

In its opening weekend Jurassic World broke box office records. Earning $204.5 million domestically and $511.8 million worldwide.
