Beantown will have to stand in for The Big Apple, at least for Paul Feig’s new Ghostbusters reboot with Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig. The Bridesmaids team started filming the all-female Ghostbusters movie in Boston today.

Feig posted a picture on Twitter, showing himself playing with some really gooey slime. “And... action,” he wrote, adding “#slimetimestartstomorrow.”

The post came after the Boston Herald reported that Boston would be used as a stand in for New York City for the film, since apparently Boston can’t have its own team of Ghostbusters.

The Herald claimed its sources got a hold of the plot, which has McCarthy and Wiig playing authors who wrote a book about how ghosts are real. A few years later, Wiig’s character gets a teaching job at Columbia, but when her book on ghosts resurfaces, she loses her job. The two friends reunite to create their own Ghostbusters firm, just like in the original films.

The other two members of the new Ghostbusters team are Saturday Night Live stars Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

After years of trying to get a true Ghostbusters 3 made, Sony decided to retool the franchise with an all-female team. The new movie hits theaters on July 22, 2016.

There’s also a rumor that Channing Tatum will star in another Ghostbusters film with a male team.
