An investigation is underway after video surfaced of a police officer in Texas pulling a gun on several teenagers at a pool party and wrestling a female party goer to the ground.
NBC News noted that Police Officer Eric Casebolt was interviewed by Internal Affairs Monday after the chaotic scene, which took place on Friday.
Officers in the Dallas suburb of McKinney responded to calls that the teens were causing a disturbance and fighting with one another at the Craig Ranch Community North Pool.
The video is just over seven minutes shows the officers trying to control the crowd of juveniles and then things evidently got violent.
In the clip, Casebolt can be heard yelling obscenities at the teens and then grabbing a girl in a bathing suit and pulling her down to the ground. He then pulled her by the back of her head and forced her face into the grass. When two males approached, possibly trying to help her, Casebolt is seen pulling his gun on them.
The police officer is white and the party goers were mostly black. The video evidence touched on the heated topic of whether white officers are using excessive force specifically on African Americans.
Casebolt has been placed on administrative leave pending the investigation.
