Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, clearly thinks highly of his most famous client. Since Bieber is tipping his toe into the world of EDM, Braun thinks that makes him like Bob Dylan.

In a new cover interview for Billboard, Braun suggests that Bieber’s recent Ultra Music Festival could be as iconic as Dylan plugging in an electric guitar at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival.

“It’s like Bob Dylan: He pissed people off, but whenever he switched, he reinvented himself in a way that made him who he is today,” Braun told the magazine.

As Entertainment Weekly points out, Bieber took the stage at the festival to perform “Where Are U Now” with Skrillex.

The Billboard cover story focuses on power players within the EDM world, which Braun is trying to join. He’s already representing Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia and 19-year-old rising star Martin Garrix.

Back in April, Bieber said that much of the inspiration for his new music is coming from his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, in response to her song “The Heart Wants What It Wants.” He still hasn’t released a full studio album since 2012’s Believe.
