Snoop Dogg is not happy with beer-maker Pabst Brewing Co. over profits from the recent sale of its Colt 45 brands.
Back in 2011, Snoop agreed to promote the fruit-flavored “Blast by Colt 45.” According to the breach-of-contract lawsuit, that contract noted that he should receive a cut of the profits from a potential sale of the Colt 45 operations before January 2016, reports The Associated Press.
Snoop was also supposed to get royalties from each case of Blast by Colt 45 sold and was even supposed to get bonuses based on how well his social media posts about the drink did. He was also supposed to meet with the Colt 45 marketing team once a year to hash out plans for promotions.
In September 2014, Pabst was sold to Russian company Oasis Beverages. The companies did not announce what the sale price was, but Snoop’s attorney claims that Pabst went for a reported $700 million.
Pabst has not commented on the lawsuit yet.
