Tony Bennett was forced to cancel his performance with Lady Gaga in London scheduled for Tuesday night due to falling ill with the flu.

The singer, 88, made the announcement to fans on Twitter ahead of the show and apologized for having to cancel the appearance.

“Sorry to not be singing in London tonight,” he tweeted. “I love my fans in the UK and appreciate all the well wishes to get over this flu quickly.”

The AP reports Gaga and Bennett also performed in London on Monday. Their performance planned for Tuesday was at Royal Albert Hall. Their next engagement is this Saturday in Paradise Island, Bahamas.

Bennett’s rep said ticket holders should “retain their tickets to this event pending more information.”

The duo’s joint album Cheek to Cheek won a Grammy earlier this year.
