A Louisiana man claims that he was not able to get a cake with the Confederate flag printed on it, but had no problem getting the Islamic State’s flag printed on a cake at Walmart. The store has since apologized for approving the design.

Chuck Netzhammer posted a YouTube video explaining what happened. He went to a Walmart in Slidell, Louisiana to get a cake with the Confederate battle flag printed on it, with the words “Heritage Not Hate.” That was rejected by the bakery.

However, Netzhammer went back with the ISIS flag and asked to have that printed on the cake. The bakery accepted the design and made a cake with the flag.

“That's an ISIS battleflag cake that anybody can go buy at Walmart,” Netzhammer says in the video. “But you can't buy a Confederate flag toy, with like, say, a Dukes of Hazzards car."

Netzhammer backed up his claims by showing the receipts and the denial he got for the Confederate cake request.

“An associate in a local store did not know what the design meant and made a mistake. The cake should not have been made and we apologize,” Walmart said in a statement to ABC News.

Walmart was among the group of retailers that decided to stop selling products that feature the Confederate battle flag after the Charleston church shooting earlier this month.
