WWE Legend "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes --real name Virgil Runnels —passed away Thursday morning. He was 69 years old.
The news sent shock waves throughout the wrestling community. Wrestlers and fans, both young and old, sent out condolences and wishful thoughts to him and his family.
WWE Chief Operating Officer and professional wrestler, Paul Levesque "Triple H" sent out a tweet detailing of the impact Runnels has left:
Runnels most known for his charisma both in the ring and on the mic. While Runnels retired in 2007, he would later take on another job within the company, working as a booker and producer of the WWE’s developmental territory, NXT.
Runnels is survived by his four children and wife, Michelle Runnels. Two of his children, Dustin Runnels "Goldust" and Cody Runnels "Stardust", also WWE Superstars, inducted him into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007.
Detail are still unclear at the moment of the cause.

UPDATE: According to TMZ, Runnels was rushed to the hosptial after taking a fall early Wednesday morning. He was said the have suffered "several complications" that would lead to his untimely death.
