One person is dead after a stabbing at U.S. Airways facility in Phoenix.

The stabbing took place around 4 a.m. local time at the US Airways Jeffrey D. McClelland Flight Center. KPNX-TV noted that Phoenix police Sgt. Vince Lewis said that the incident was between two flight-simulator technicians. He said the two got into an argument and then things became physical which allegedly led to the incident.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and died a short time later.

The suspect is cooperating, according to law enforcement officials and there were several witnesses who are also speaking to police.

The names of the two parties involved have been released at this time.

Lewis did not give many more details on the stabbing, only saying that a sharp object was used.

The area where the the incident occurred was cornered off but the facility remained open while authorities investigated and operations were not affected.

The facility is located near the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
